i was planning on ordering a 1" Nhandu chromatus from T Canada on the seventh, but i had a very serious accident at work and ended up in the hospital until the late evening and i missed the sale. It really stinks!! and now my back hurts sooo bad, not a good week!!
Yah, it gets to be a nice cinnamon/honey brown but changes from blue to bluish/pinkish to pinkish brown and then to the true brown. Mine's showing more activity today, so that's a relief.

Buy the monocentropus balfouri when its a bit bigger :P
id never buy 1/4 inch one, they're too small for me, luckily im having better luck with my N.chromatus and my 1/2 inch C.perezmilesi

Lol, for Acanthoscurrias I pretty much like the geniculata or brocklehursti For the Pamphos ... they're aren't in the pricelist but I'd get one of those too Im staying away for Megaphobema genus. They are too expensive and very difficult to care for. With the warm conditions in my room, they won't survive well. They require temps in the high 60s low 70s. For T.apophysis, its really hard to find in Canada

Go for a Paraphysa scrofa, beautifull species and very calm, similar to the E.campestratus except the small size. One of the calmest i have owned (compared to G.pulchripes, G.rosea etc)

@Hadsatriani cool thanks man!!!! although i do have 1 more question for ya!! my Indian ornamental i just got not sure male/female! i have it in a 12x12x18 terrarium with 2 wood climing logs! and fake plant now in the 1 log theirs kinda a burrow in it and thats where the T hangs out comes out here and their but as soon as i open the tarantula room bed room door it hides!! is that normal what are your thoughts on that?? thanks jon!
should i always keep cool water in my waterdish? and i really would like to request and updated version of avic avic pinktoe caresheet plz. such as terrarium choices. when to feed. what to do when they molt.
I would recommend it to yah. :) I'm looking forward to the colour changes since it goes through a few of them as it grows. Right now it's blue and I wish I had a camera with a good macro to take a pic. But like I said, I'm just worried that it seems a little lethargic. I was expecting it to explore a bit more and maybe web by now.
Haha sorry mate didnt see that i thought it only costed 10$ but it was the N.chromatus under it and i thought that was a waay to cheap to be a M.Balfouri thats why i suggested it :P
I think you should get the laeta, they are beautiful when they grow up. And the h.incei are amazing, i have recently got 5 slings of them. Check out the video i made of them if it'll help you decide

You should really get an immanis and ornata both are very big and gorgeous tarantulas and are pretty good eaters. I don't have an immanis but i have an intermedia which is almost the same i think the only difference is in the hairs and the price. I had an ornata and unfortunately i had to get rid of her because i needed money. I will get another one as soon as possible. If you don't want to spend that much money on the immanis get a homoeomma it's a also a good T :)

cool video man and that was some really neat T activity I like to watch tarantulas drink I caught my LP doing it right after I filled her water dish. oh and I think you should get the P. orrnata and the cool avic. well let me know what you end up getting.

wow I am so sorry man. But don't worry about the N.chromatus, went I went there they still had quite a few left. Martin says it's a nice T that is underrated in the hobby Keep trucking along, you'll get better in no time
