  • lol. he didnt exactly see the cricket, he felt it's vibrations. they feel more than they can see.
  • hey man check.out my rose hair shes the same size i believe she wont eat lol its been a month or 2 but i always give her water she only wants to.play when i open the lid lol like she knoes im opening it i.hope.she is.ok
  • Koolaidman007, exactly like this vid. It has to be DRY, DRY, DRY for roseas. They HATE moisture of any kind. Heating isn't critical either. My house is freezing and mine still won't go to the warm side of her enclosure.
  • I like this video so much
  • wow ur tarantula has good senses =]
  • Hi everyone! This is the creator of the video here. sorry I haven't been commenting back. I paid about $50 for the entire setup. The spider herself was only like $20 maybe $25. She is obviously very little here but has since grown a lot. Yes, she is a female, but there is no way you can tell that by the video. I feed her 1 large cricket once a week and she eats it like clockwork (rare for this species) unless shes molting where she doesn't eat at all for about a month. Thanks for the comments!
  • how often do you feed her?
  • how offten dose your rose hair eat?
  • What a NINJA
  • i hope ya can answer me back!!! I have the same spider pretty much the same size too!! ive had it about 5 months so do you feed every week i put 2 crokets in a week im not really sure when their eatn never seen it happen lol but always find them dead!!
  • Damn my chili is hella lazy i alllways have to assist him to catch his food
  • ur wierd
  • it looks deadly as fuck
  • Ooh he's tiny compared to my female! How old is he?
  • Many people are claiming to sex tarantulas, it is not an easy task, spiders can only be sexed by examining the moulted skin under a microscope. Pet shops rarely have a spider long enough for it to moult and even some dealers are claiming that their spiders are female when in reality they have no idea. I do not sex my spiders, I do not have the time, the expertise, or the inclination.
  • i bought a male at the end of its life cycle and it wouldnt eating and just died like a retard
  • It is an exo terra 30x30x30 cm?
  • Oh and no, although I am the only one who has ever held her/touched her I am not afraid of touching her. The hairs can be annoying when she flicks them around but she never bites. and I have 2 frogs a bearded dragon and 2 turtles that all eat crickets so no I am not afraid to handle crickets, they aren't even like bugs to me, more like food that moves lol
  • how much did u spend to buy the tarantula by itself without the cage ?
  • Wow, I wasn't expecting it to move that fast! At least I know what to expect when I get mine.
  • Cute little fat tarantula... :)
  • when the cricket was behind Ozzy the hairs on the back of the legs got the viberations and then she found the cricket and ate it i have the same tarantula and as a 13 year old i love you tarantula and hope you have a great life time with Ozzy
  • What did you use for the bottom layer of your aquarium? Im looking to get a Chilean Rose myself. I just need to know what you base their habitat with.
  • Why thank you what a compliment to compare me with Sherlock your a very nice person
  • FOOL! you should'nt bang the case with the cricket in like that whilst 10 inches away from your T you going to make it nurvouse and it will turn nasty and will start to bite.
  • I know how he saw the cricket he has tiny hairs which pick up tiny vibrations in the air and I'm 8 years old.
  • the back looks like an old mans face
  • funny video.... beautiful Tarantula, G Rosea's are really sweet to handle
  • @JBCLProductions It's part of their diet mate, it's what they would eat in the wild.
  • Sweet, that cricket was having a bad time though haha!
  • @BritainNelms its too soon to feed after molting.
  • you can tell its a male beacaus of the rose colored hair on its abdomin
  • i was going to comment on your spider. i was confused y u called it ozzy while it seems to be more female
  • Nice
  • besides rearing up is there any other tells that they are pissed off?
  • I hate crickets, they're so creepy.
  • This is the best reply I've seen for ANY of the tarantula videos on youtube.
  • i named mine eddy but i found out how to tell a male or female and thats by looking at its pedipalps so now i know mines a female not a male but i still call it eddy because the name stuck i had called her that for a few years til i found out she was a girl maybe its the same with them
  • No shit, Sherlock.
  • are u afraid to touch him and the crickets?
  • i got a chilean rose hair to XD
  • dude i want to se him rip upen the cricket
  • lolz i hate tarantulas defence lolz its annoying
  • When they molt you leave them 7 days before feeding.
  • my T is lazy or afraid or something she molted two days ago so I figure she'd be hungry but nope she's in there sleeping with her food.
  • u suck if u hate crickets your creepy
  • Good thing Sherlock was a fictional character...
  • ahhh! mist that cage! He needs a little bit of water his exo is dehydrated. :)
