  • Do you have any GBB's for sale right now?
  • Gorgeous! I am considering getting one of these in the future. :)
  • How do you know she is a female? Is there any physical difference between male and female? Apart from living longer.
  • i'm getting my female GBB today or tomorrow. i'm so excited. my gf isn't... but i am:)
  • She's adorable :)
  • Great Scott!!! I see a blue😄
  • Is That venomous
  • My GBB Is Worse Than My P.cancerides And OBT's Put Together ... Lmfao
  • you got balls of steel
  • Aw why can't my 1 inch female hurry up and grow! XD she's stunning :)
  • so cute!
  • How in the hell did it grow that fast?? 6 months and its already that big?!?!
  • She is really gorgeous, what a delight and how precious and delicate she is. They're so dear. I have a rose-haired and I saw an ad today for a Green bottle blue tarantula and Googled to remind myself of their colors and traits, which is how I found your video. Yeah, just as I remembered, they're amazing. One additional thing I noticed, however, in your video is where you said, "I'm not comfortable with her going up my arm."That's extremely typical of a tarantula - they crawl up the arm and like mine, she likes to sit on my shoulder. I remain still since a fall from the waist down can cost them their life. Why on earth would it ever bother you to have her walk up your arm?I love my Betty and there's nothing about her that I fear. I don't see her as a spider, but more like a funny, delicate, sweet, adorable, fragile and furry little alien friend, LOL. You may have reasons other than fear so forgive me if I've jumped to conclusions here. However, if you are afraid of her or weirded out, then perhaps a tarantula isn't for you.You can't truly love something with all of your hear that you fear.
  • She's beautiful
  • Can't wait to get mine <3
  • They are expensive, usually about $50 for 1in specimen. Waiting for my baby to grow too!
  • i might get one
  • She's absolutely beautiful.
  • I definitely would, I want to know how poisonous they are and what triggers the biting.
  • @Tommy Hearne well i forgive the capital letters as i enjoy that little bit of artistic flare, a la ee cummings.
  • Love these Ts, im getting 1 soon
  • Ok so English is not your first language and the vivarium and terrarium issue is understandable. how can you state that you can not domesticate a spider. there have been no scientific studies on such a feat. all you can say is so far mankind has not domesticated them. We have kept them long enough to be able to say that (provided interaction happens regularly) 4th generation onward are less aggressive than a wild caught one.
  • not really, far as I know it stresses the animal :) sry if there are any mistakes, i know my nlish is bad ^^
  • How can you say they are wild animals, how do you know this is not a 4th or 5th generation of captive bred spider? If she was stressed she would not allow herself to be handled, same goes for your "stress" point. Spiders are kept in vivariums not terrariums. Every species of spider known to science are venomous but not every species has fangs strong enough to pierce human skin. Additionally there is a difference between being poisonous and being venomous. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT BEFORE SPOUTING.
  • Where do you find one
  • Well the word "doesticate" means for me, that you can train them to do things, and one of those is being less aggressive, too. Spiders apparently have no brains, and that's why it will be really hard to do it. I think it may be possible that those generations are less aggressive because the parents both were calm or things like that, but you didn't train them to be less aggressive or so. A wrong movement or something else could still make the them bite. Thanks for your understanding btw.
  • she is a beauty!
  • Oh my goodness that spider is GORGEOUS! And so docile! Does she kick hairs at all?
  • Pretty
  • i love coming back to this video! desperately don't wanna be frightened of tarantulas or spiders, this one's beautiful though
  • Does she ever kick hairs at you?
  • she is beautiful you are a lucky man!
  • beautiful spider shes pretty tame must handle her alot!
  • She is beauuuuutiful looking. :)
  • I was the same as you I had a rose hair at first (and still have it) then bought a sling gbb, now it got bigger and just turned more blue since last molt and it's not difficult to take care of. It's great to see it make their big webs and they are very aggressive when they hunt, super impressive, you should totally get some more information about this tarantula and get one!
  • Wow that is so cool! Getting my own GBB sling next week. It's my first spider ever and I'm very excited!
  • Not sure about this particular one but a tarantulas bite is not something to fear. No poison, and its like being stung by a wasp: nothing to worry about, its just that it happens really fast and its more scary than it is painful.
  • I have a rose hair tarantula had her since I was 8 years old now I am 30 she is still going strong:)
  • how generous is she with her webbing? :3 because Im currently hunting around for a good tarantula species that is arboreal and generous with those webbing :D
  • what are you talking about ? it cant kill you !!
  • Shes a beauty and worth a pretty penny. Id have to say Im jealous!
  • you, sir, have balls of steel.
  • NOPE!
  • Well, the GBBT (Green Bottle Blue Tarantula) is not aggressive at all. The best to get are probably the GBBT, Chilean Roes Hair, Honduran Curly Hair (these are easily found at most petstore) and Mexican Red Knee. It might be best that you keep the children away from the T's considering how easily the T's can be hurt.
  • Wow, she's absolutely stunning.
  • LOL at the cockney 'little bitty spider' :-D
  • how did u get those scars? :u
  • I'm the same way with mines lol
