Got any advices for new owners? I have had a juvenile B. smithi for a couple of months now and she just had her first mold with me 2 days ago. Any idea about when she will get hungry again? She has fully grown smithi coloration now. She hasn´t left her burrow and i did throw her a cricket, but she is not interested at the moment. It seems weird to me, because i have had G. rosea for 2 years and she was hungry as hell the very first day after her mold.
Good for you man nice t
It is a must to a T collection lol I'll be breeding mine after she molts.
It was only a temporary setup thats how I got her she had been in that keeper for years like that. Im doing a lot of rehousings at the moment trying to get everyone situated.
Cool dude
Sure thing feel free to Private Message as well if I can help out in any way.
Beautiful! I want one of these sooooo bad dude!
Very calm one of my favorite T's
No problem feel free to contact if I can ever help :)
VERY NICE.. HOW MANY PERCENT OF EACH SUSTRATE DID YOU USE FOR THAT?? I MEAN, IT LOOKS RATHER SOLID AND SUITABLE TO AVOID THE INSERTION OF THE TINY SAND PARTICLES INTO THE SPIDER..
What type of enclosure is it, I noticed they do that if its stuffy inside or too humid, how much ventilation do you have?
OF COURSE, THANK YOU SO MUCH..
Thats about the same size as my female i love them man there pretty calm and cool looking!
Yes the substrate is dry people tell me to add more because of him falling. But he climbs even more now because easyer to do so.
They usually climb if the substrate has moister, I have theirs dry. Is the substrate dry?
Thanks for the comment!
Nice but why u never gave her a hide in the critter cage to begin with???
DEFINITELY I WILL DO SO MY FRIEND, I ACTUALLY LIKE THE WAY YOU SETUP YOUR T´S ENCLOSURES & I WOULD LIKE YOUR OPINION ON MY NEW T´S CHANNEL(COMING SOON), THANKS..
I THINK SO., THANKS.. (:
THANKS FOR REPLY, I´M AGREE WITH YOU; THEY ARE FOUND IN COASTAL LOCATIONS: SO, THAT IMPLIES THE PRESENCE OF SAND IN ANY PROPORTION..(: I HAD HEARD AT SOME HOBBYISTS SUGGESTING TO ADVOID THE PRESENCE OF SAND IN MAJOR PROPORTIONS..
Thank You
I've kept brachy's like this always and they do just fine. Thanks so much for your comments it's great to share info.
Thanks! Its about a 50 fiber 30 sand and 20 peat, they live in similar conditions in nature so its great for them.
Whats a good set up for my Mexican Red Knee she keeps climbing on top of cage and sides? She is about 7 inches afaird she going to hurt her self doing this every day.I have her in a 20 gallon long.
