My first rose hair let me stroke her fangs but I have never seen one being tickled like this. I also haven't tried that with my current rose hair either lol

That's good to hear. Like I said individuals do vary. I happen to have a 3'' male and 7'' mature female pulchra that've been moody as long with my pulchripes and rosea. In my years of experience you can't beat Euathlus sp red. They're dwarf species but oh so incredibly calm, more calmer than my B.albo
Tarantulas are like pets. They don't bite, they're not aggressive, they can be playful, all just like a puppy. It's cool.

I have 2 G.Pulchras AF and they are the most evil tarantulas I own. Mines don`t do the general consensus of being nice & docile like yours. Excellent vid by the way, that is the most docile T I`ve ever seen!
I've had mine for a little over a year and a half now (you replied to a very old comment) and I have never been happier with a T than I am with my G. pulchra.
the tarantula was just fine. They really should be handled with caution but if that spider felt that it was in danger or that it wasnt enjoying it... it wouldve let her know.

I have had my G.pulchra for about a month and zhe (idk if it's a boy or girl yet) is SO cute. Omg I love her. Zhe's only about an inch and a quarter, but I can't wait for hir to be this big :)

I've held a P. murinus! Of course I didn't meddle with her fangs or anything like the woman in the video, but considering all the horror stories I'd heard about OBTs she was amazingly calm. She allowed me to pick her up twice with my fingers and walked back and forth between my hands. She didn't strike a defense pose until after I put her back on her substrate and her owner accidentally bumped into the container. It's crazy how diverse a species of tarantula's personalities can be.
She's a Spider Mama, not a Lung Head who wears a Jock Strap on his Face and called Guns "Manhood".

That's a very nice T. They're calm enough for anyone to do what you did. Not alot of females will even pick up a tarantula so props.
I love coming back to this video...I just wish my pulchra was this calm, she's so skittish in and out of her enclosure.
G. pulchras really are the puppy dogs of the tarantula world. I get mine in tomorrow!

How did you ever figure out how to do that without getting bitten? Even my very sweet E. campestratus wouldn't stand for that.
@nicolevins im sorry I thought it was cute but Iknow nothing about it really I am very afraid of any spider but I watch Rob C tarantula1976 videos and changed my way of looking at them. But I would NEVER touch one I would run. I guess it is stressed now that I think about it. wild animals get afraid and stressed. thanks for the lnfo
