Different species of tarantulas have different temperaments. People who consider tarantulas as pets need to be careful about what species they get, especially if they are beginners. Some are docile and take handling very well, whereas the baboon species are generally very aggressive. If a noob doesn't know what they're getting into and buys an aggressive species and wants to handle it, they're either going to get frustrated or get the piss bit out of them.

ew, we got a Thailand Black T. the thing moves like lightening, goes after your hand not your paint brush, it jumped towards my hand. KNown as quick and double strikers with extra venom. beautiful black spider its looking for a home!

Btw my Baboons all hang out in the open, even though they have hides and 8inches of bedding to burrow. Why? Because i don't blow on them or shove straws in their face. IF YOU BUY ONE OF THESE, don't be cruel to it and you will have a beautiful tarantula with an aggressive appetite to observe and enjoy.
Citharischius is a spider from Kenya, very agressive, and beautiful...it's an eumenophorinae, like Hysterocrates, or phoneyusa etc....u can hear it stridulating...
