Tell me that guitar starting at around :45 wasn't inspired by Dimebag Darrell. I fucking dare you.Not talking shit at all, I love Machine Head. One of maybe 3 or 4 bands currently together still making music that I enjoy listening to. I dig this song a bunch for that heavy thick groove sound which Dime put his stamp on, brings me back to my younger days.

this is a pretty bad song overall. That main chorus melody is one of the worst, effort-lacking lazy ones I've heard, immediately predictable and uninspired. The breakdown heavy part is pure generic. The pre-chorus is alright. The entire twin lead guitar part is nothing new, same old thing, Maiden did that 30 years ago not to mention the ultra-generic pedalpoint that starts it off. The concept (locust) is pretty silly too... nothing like Burn my Eyes or even a later track like Imperium.

Why do the chorus vocals and that 3:10 break have to sound that sloppy, naive and goofy ? Typical of some American Bands trying to sound brutal and ending up singign nice-guy/simpleton choruses (say, Trivium ?!)...
