  • It made a noise when it jumped! WOW!
  • actually the huntsman spider is bigger look it up....
  • @ slick wheels.. it has a longer leg span but its not bigger then this one..
  • Is black widows allowed as pets? Most spiders are very boring as pets right? I hear people saying they only stay in corners and stuff like that.
  • Allaboard the nopetrain to fuckthatshit ville
  • Ugh its skyrim and those fucking frostbite spiders all over again. Kudos man, this is still pretty cool.
  • Actually the Huntsman spider is only bigger in size because of its long legs. The Goliath spider is bigger in terms of weight.
  • where was the spiders hide in that enclosure, poor spider, give it the correct housing
  • I will never sleep comfortably again. These damn things scare the tits outta me :(
  • Zero substrate and an arboreal cage for a terrestrial species. Yeah you know what you're doing alright.
  • Nice!
  • Can anyone pleases tell me a reliable place to buy one of these please
  • But is it a Tarantula, or a Bird eater?
  • Ah shit! I missed the train to Sleep City!
  • DEATH TO ALL SPIDERS!!!
  • thankyou for the vid the more we know the easier it is for us to save some breeds of spiders i live in australia where people are taking to many out of the wild
  • Of course a tarantula is a spider for gods sake, they do have poison and some will quite happily bite you if given half a chance!
  • I'm disappointed in the lack of giant spiders in the world Where are the giant fluffy dog sized spiders when ya need them most in these trying times?
  • they do rub hairs off that bother the skin eyes and throat
  • sorrry to hear that. I had a cage built for my chilean rosehair where I could open a little door and shoo her into a smaller cage to replace substrate. tried to keep it clean as some arachnids are v. susceptible to fungal infections. gosh must have been quite a fall, my rosie actually hangs from the cage top and drops herself down (i have no idea why, fun maybe??) hope you now have a new fun pet. cheers.
  • Cool!!!!
  • Ur welcome
  • Sorry but my pet skunk will be nom nom nom nom nom. My pet rat will run though hahahaha.
  • she's cool! i had a beautiful Goliath in this exact same cage for 3 years, but i had a lot of substrate in the tank over 1/3 full, she used to climb sometimes n one day she fell n ruptured her abdomen on the water dish she died later that day, maybe i was unlucky but defo not worth the risk!!
  • Yeah venomman dosnt put up videos up on YouTube for people to be dicks he puts them up so he can extend people's knowledge of exotic animals and any other cool animals
  • what kind is it
  • @ajtheghost thanks i think lol
  • ur like Hagrid :)
  • @TheAjw87 thanks
  • These tarantulas are extraordinarily beautiful. I would love to get one of these beautiful arachnids in my possession someday. You sure do know how to care for spiders and the terrarium you put your spider in is constructed nicely.
  • you from STL?
  • @venomman20 I just got my Birdeater and yours look's great ! But you might want add a bit more substrate in the bottom of your awsome looking enclosure to cushion any falls. I have about an inch or 2 Eco Earth in all of my T's housings.Just a thought and by the way I would love to hear back from another T lover!
  • Kill it... Kill it with fire!
  • Tank isn't really correct, supposed to get a large terrestrial tank for it with alot of substrate to burrow and provide a hide, and if it does climb and fall it will hit the substrate and not hurt the spider to much. Plus they like plenty of humidity and plenty of damp substrate in the tank will help to provide this.
  • cute spider. hope you're keeping it as happy as humanly possible
  • from what ive been told, this would be considered a burgundy bird eater, almost the same thing, except ive been told that if the tarantula does not have long hairs on the leg segment closest to its body than its a burgundy
  • HE'S NOT HUMAN
  • dude hardly any substrate!! you need 4-6" is she falls in there shell just splat on he glass
  • omg sooo aweshome *-*
  • Oh wait if you know what spiders eat i just got a new pet spider and im not sure what it eats... But i could of sworn all spiders eat mealworms.
  • @theadam9911 no i wish
  • Dont you worry about getting bit? im TERRIFIED of spiders, much less this monster! Gives me full body shudders just watching it,lol!
  • -.-
  • @snakehogs your spellings fine mine sucks yea this was just a temp cage hes in his new one witch is going to work much beter vid coming soon
  • they are opertunistic burrowers and you should have a hide and more floor space just some suggestions sry about the spelling.
  • Just pulled my legs from the damn floor...
  • @1234quenton thanks
  • Hello! I just got a Goliath bird eater and know how aggressive they can be. Do you recommend handling them? Mine seems docile enough but I'd like another owner's opinion.
