  • is it weird that although im scared of the small regular spiders, i actually find these big tarantulas to be perfectly fine?
  • is this the warden dude from orange is the new black?
  • and a side note..... they flick hairs at the entrance to their burrows to keep predators out too.
  • Best pet ever if you want Claude Faustus to love you. Right?
  • My dog just ate mines =(
  • Long time spider collector and I found best to use pantyhoses to rub off the hairs when they get on you. They can cause you to itch for days, and pantyhoses does the trick.
  • This is a big tarantula
  • It looks like a white tarantula is on that artificial branch
  • you just look at him funny and they will flick hairs. but not really aggressive at all. when mine was about 5 inches, the hairs didnt bother me at all. 2 molts later at 9 inches, the hairs are bothersome. wear latex gloves and a long shirt if you are gonna handle a larger goliath. other than that they are pretty fun to have.
  • I like this guys voice. I hate spiders but after listening to him for awhile they don't seem so bad.
  • Did you give the tarantula a dollar? Wow
  • Who actually wants to keep a thing like this??
  • stop the huntsman spider is the largdest ever
  • Aaaawww its so cute
  • its so cute!
  • That's the "OH HELL NO!" spider
  • did anyone else BARELY even notice the Chilean Rose Hair T on the bark to his left??
  • 0:55 compare the size of the tarantula in the wood or whateverTo the spider in the box
  • 0:39Pause, look at the log closely, Rose Hair. That's all :)
  • That was a t burgondy and they dont use there venom (usualy) they just stick there gigantic fang in your hand so no worries
  • The huntsmen spider is the largest spider legspan wise. But thats a debate since a p. Rufi can get to an amazing legspan. Butttt and a big but. Tarantulas are whats considered a mygalamorph ( may be spelled wrong sorry ) which is whats scientifically older spider species. There is a difference between a true spider and a tarantula. Mainly the way the fangs operate. Most true spiders can move their fangs side to side and somewhat up and down ( not always the case but very common ) tarantulas can only operate their mandibles up and down. Just some silly knowledge.
  • They eat bird if he or she big
  • THEYRE SO CUTE!!!! ;u;
  • Well presented info about a cute, cuddly lil guy.
  • I have 12 theraphosas, apophysis, blondi and stirmi. and they are more easy to have, than Poecilotheria speices for example, or baboon spiders, whom have way more potent venom than theraphosas does
  • @rezsky404 then WHY are you watching this video? retard.
  • How long until people start keeping giant huntsmen as pets? Not that they'd really be worth it since I hear they don't live for decades like tarantulas do.
  • cool
  • The venom is not toxic if you get bit it's equivalent to a bee sting
  • I noticed it
  • This Spider is so cool! I think I got a picture of one of these at a kid's learning/play place. I loved her! She was AWESOME! Big, but awesome and quite pretty, just like this one!
  • The Rose Hair on the left xD
  • @Charlie venables Goliath Bird-eater is the largest Tarantula and Tarantulas aren't spiders technically so . . . yeah.
  • Hey Bob, have you been bitten by one of these?
  • I like this spider :D
  • Its kind of cute when it huddles up as he's trying to display it. But yeah, I'd never keep one as a pet. I respect nature and adore the fierce predator and creature this Tarantula is, but I wouldnt want it around my living space, even in an enclosure.
  • I have seen a golden orb weaver that had got a bird It freaked me out
  • Bs bs bs the bite is mild like a bee sting because it is a new world now something like a orange baboon or a p ornata being and old world species of tarantula have the strongest venom putting you in the hospital due to pain and cramping and the largest species of arachnids is the giant huntsman spider reaching 13 inch leg span but have small bodies but is not considered a tarantula
  • it seems camera shy XDXD
  • NOPE
  • ugh!!! i dont want a spider as a pet. i have extreme arachnophobia and its.... just not going to happen. people who love spiders, i think, are psychos. because any kind of spider would scare the living soul outta me and how are they not afraid of these things. what a creepy 8-legged monstrosity.
  • Who's brave enough to watch it on full screen 1080p?
  • Anyone else thought it was cute when she wiggled her spinnerettes?
  • I'm sorry... but that Tarantula has very little aggression. When you touch a Tarantula they will do one of two things, turn around and and give you a pose or even strike, or they will just start to slowly move forward. In this case she wasn't being aggressive at all, the only thing that made her look "mean" was when he was poking her in the face. Any Tarantula will have a little attitude about stuff like that. But in the end, not once did she actually show that she was going to strike. I personally would have held her, and have no real fears.
  • Iv got a Rose hair, and she's shot her hair's at me before and one got on my eyelid... irritating as fuck! and for like 2 days.
  • How cast I love you ... we have very good tips !!
  • i have one of these as a pet. i handle him. they are actually pretty sweet spiders once you get to know how to handle them. mine is about 8.5" and is a male. the actual fang damage is worse than the venom, the fangs can get an inch long. the hairs are irritating as heck. worst out of the tarantulas for sure. definitely NOT a beginner species.
  • i am studying on animals beacuse i want to and they are really intersting and i watched it on full scream dont worrry why are ya scare it wont bite
