  • It looks like an unknown Chilobrachys species of tarantula, but am pretty confident its indeed a Chilobrachys genus just by the looks of it.
  • It's still #spiderSunday somewhere on the planet! Today's lesson: do not go playing with animal poop, at least not without protective gloves! Flash Gordon moment eek!! Hopefully they just captured her/him for identification purposes so the correct antivenin could be administered (to the human), and s/he was released back into the wild.#savethespiders #spidersareawesome !!!I heart spiders <3
  • Ah young padawan, best check with torch and then probe with forceps into holes in the jungle floor ... but glad you had a collecting vial and knew that such beautiful tarantulas arn't dangerous ... and could be an interesting new species
  • Array
  • That was such a noobish move to put your hand in unknown hole...if it had been an old world tarantula species, the consequences could have been serious.
  • Well.. if you will go sticking your hand down a hole in the jungle.

  • WTF
  • Aww! I have nine tarantulas as pets, they are probably my favorite animal! ^_^
  • ...so, what I'm going to do...is carefully sneak up behind him and JAM my thumb up it's butthole!

  • what a mug.
  • Pure stupidity
  • Ouch !!!!
  • You put your hand down it's hole and it bit you so you decide to capture it? wtf
  • he didn't capture it out of vengeance, its common sense to capture the spider that bit you for correct identification if it happens to be venomous even thought it was clearly a tarantula and didn't pose any real danger
