i have arachnophobia so i watch documentaries like this in an attempt to understand spiders better and conquer the fear, however this documentary was especially difficult to watch, i kept on getting wierd crawling feelings on my body whilst watching it like a spider was crawling up my leg lol i had to keep pausing it and try to compose myself before carrying on haha!
I am going to buy a flame thrower now. thanks.
somehow the subtitles are misleadinghope youtube fixes that
Spiders are the best, good pests controllers and the jumping spiders are so damn cute :D
39:25 tie her up...That is the only way the male doesn't get killed. >____> I would give up if women had to eat us. I like living too much.
National Geographic Super Spider - Fascinating Spider Documentary: https://youtu.be/jESKFHRU_HcEyebrow extensions like eyelashes are hot. Really Really long no mascara ever or glue that close to a human eyeball. Coming soon to the make up artists imagination. No plucking, Shaving or waxing. Unless the eyebrows are glued to eyebrow not lashes anymore. :)
A documentary where narrator doesn't sound racist or a robot? Whaaaattt
The thread is produced in "real time"? Thank goodness! What if it wasn't?I really dislike that phrase....
I feel like a bunch of spiders are crawling all over me. Yuck!

I've Never Seen A Black Scientist
(shivers with fear) I had no idea my destiny was to watch this :(
I don't think researchers would harm their subjects. The jumping spider is a very smart critter. I've observed their actions for years (in nature).
This is like all horror films combined times a million.
Unfortunately I live in an area where the Black Widow Spider and the Brown Recluse Spider also lives. I've read reports that these two spiders are ranked in the top ten most venomous spiders. But both species not aggressive towards humans. I have seen them both many times as a child and until recently, did not know how dangerous they can be. At this very moment, I know for a fact that there are several Black Widows in my yard, and maybe a few Brown Recluse in my house...I hope I never get bit, but it's inevitable.
24:47 Forgive me if I am wrong but....did that spider just take a sh!t?
Spiders have far more to fear from people, than people from spiders. It would be interesting to see the statistics of spider bite fatalities on humans, compared to spiders killed from insecticides, whacks on the head by humans and ..apparently.. flame throwers. On my property we have lots of spiders. I don't bother them and they don't bother me. In fact they do a service, by keeping down the vermin that do bother me, such as mosquitoes and flies. If I find them in the house I put them outside... even the huntsman spiders. I greatly admire spiders web building skills also. This was a really informative and interesting documentary, thanks for sharing. : )
WAT THE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 26:56 (faints)
Spiders our my third favorite animal.
Ways to get rid of spiders: move to Antarctica
Is any one else's eyes just furiously darting and scanning the room that their in while watching this right now??? :'(
this is offensive to spiders!!!! CALL PETI
Check out this video on YouTube: a
I love how they kept spewing "we should learn from them, to adapt and survive." Yeah we all know humans have done NOTHING to change the environment around them to help us adapt and survive. We are all running around in loin clothes throwing spears at mammoths.
I don't know what's worse, arachnophobia or trypophobia.
It seems like The spider would recognize the shape of the stick rather than the color :/ that's not saying I know better than her though. She IS the scientist.
Tegeneria Agrestis is good and venomous. Hobo spider.
I HATE Tegenaria!!!
I fucking hate house spiders. The others are not that bad though.
i guess its time to move to the north pole
Spiders are so amazing! Thank you so much for this upload, loved it! :)
Thanks for sharing. The most dangerous spider to humans may be the Sydney Funnel Web Spider whose venom is so potent and fast-acting that they could potentially kill a small child within 15 minutes. Since an anti-venom was developed for them there have been no more human deaths.
You know, if more people understood how spiders probably feel about us, I'm thinking the fear of them might diminish severely.
I don't really like spiders but that doesn't mean i can't be impressed with them. This video is proof of how talented spiders are.
adapt cool....change cool,,,, multipily? can we take that out? at least limit the eggs to a number of pups a dog has.
I love these spider documentaries so much but, every time I watch them, I develop the almost unavoidable need to shit my pants...:'(
That ending remark really made me sad. : (
Painting the spiders eyes! WHAT THE FUCK! That's incredibly harsh for such a cute spider :(
Array
Am I the only boy afraid of spiders
Spiders are successful because they've learned to adapt -like all other successful creatures on earth. Humans have Developed the 'Al Gore & Co.' We don't need to adapt to our environment, even a degree or two over a century. We can fix our environment making IT adapt to our wishes. Silly spiders, so primitive.
There's something kinda badass about a person who collects spiders with their mouth.
Understanding
Spiders are amazing :)
wtf, painting on their eyes? that's fucked up.
I love spiders:)
Painting over the spider's eyes won't damage them will it? Because if it does then that's cruel.
