  • Can't you hold the camera fucking steady?
  • Put this on on my phone for my bearded dragon to watch with the volume all the way up. He tuned right in and eventually tried to catch one of the crickets with his tongue. Now he's mad at me for tricking him and he's sat at the other end of the room glaring at me.
  • lol 90k+ views. I used to feed this little rascals to my frogs n lizards n salamanders. Over the years I got really attached to the chirping, I don't have any animals anymore but I am doubting about buying some crickets just to have the chirping going on :PBest way to fall asleep!
  • i have a joke. there was a guy who drinks a milk and expressed by saying "this is legen Dairy!" :)
  • i actually think they sound soothing
  • Google the following sentence:Someone Recorded Crickets then Slowed Down the Track, And It Sounds Like People Singing
  • Nvuhi
  • When is the next episode?
  • My friend put a couple of crickets in her lizard tank and he didn't eat them. She cleaned his tank and found more crickets! "Those little bastards had babies!"
  • hey...it's same with me here ^^, i keep a lot of crickets in my bedroom, i wait so much time every nights but they didn't chirp at all...lol
  • Obviously a very unimpressive male lol needs to work on his chirping game
  • I remove the wings with scissors, they don't have any feeling in the tip, and without it they can't chirp. :)
  • I love crickets chirping sound...i keep 5 to 10 crickets in my bedroom, just to hear them chirping..Aw,sounds relaxing you know..
  • Do you think they'd mind having little blue and pink bows stucked to their heads? And I use to have some a petstore I helped out at, although they were sold for dinner.
  • cant they lose sensation in the area thats clipped
  • Im showing this to my Bearded dragon lizard his lookiing at it like his confuse
  • I believe they're Acheta Domesticus (house crickets). I buy them at Petco or PetSmart for the lizard.
  • Their $0.07 each at my pet store. They LOVE eating freeze-dried mealworms and paper egg cartons, and just nibble a little bit on oatmeal, dried toast, and so on.
  • What do you hear?
  • ^ This. Burnt lol
  • HAHA!!!!! When I put my Jackson's Chameleon to the computer screen, he actually kept on shooting his tongue out at them! I guess he's hungry.....
  • my crested gecko francis will sit and watch this video for hours lol
  • when i was watching this my lip was bleeding
  • I tried to get my beardie to react to this video did not work
  • I remove the wings with scissors, they don't have any feeling in the tip, and without it they can't chirp. :)
  • The sound is produced by a comb-like part on their wings yes. It's a very common misconception that the sound is made from them rubbing their legs together.
  • How can you lose sensation in an area that's already senseless? They don't have any nerve endings in the tips > no pain > no sensation
  • And NOM NOM MOTHERFUCKER
  • My turtle Moe loves too eat them....
  • Different types of crickets produce different sounds. I breed native field crickets and they are loader then a mobile phone lol There are also silent brown crickets that hardly make any sound, then you have house crickets who sound like these guys in the video.
  • my gecko attacked this XD
  • what specie are they?
  • Lol my beardie is confused
  • i love the way they sing me to sleep every night
  • I played this to my bearded dragon and he loved it!
  • of course they would mind having anything tied or attached to them or any part of their body removed, just as with most non-human living things that have a central-nervous-system.
  • Some of the crickets we buy don't have the tip of the wings but they can still chirp. I don't mind the sounds since I'm used to it. I wonder what my neighbors think when they suddenly hear a bunch of crickets chirping.
  • First yeaaaaaaa no homo
  • I have a cricket in my room who fell in through one of the vent shafts (during snowy season lots of them are found inside the house) and it chirped slowly, when I played this, its chirping speed increased to super fast, as if it were panicking. Very strange.
  • i feed them to my venus flytrap and pitcher pkants shuts thrm up fast
  • Thanks for putting this up here.
  • I've just watched video and had a strange reaction with my crickets.. Mine constantly make the same noise but when I played the vid they all shut up. Seemed like they listening.. Wierd.
  • I have always been curious about this for a real long time now and I wanted to get in cleared up for the last time, whenever I hear a cricket outside, it is their wings that are producing te sound right, I always thought that the noise was when the rubbed their legs together, but it is their wings right? Great video..Thanks.
