  • Where did you get the Polystyrene?
  • what sealant do you use?
  • what do you use to sand the foam with? I have rough edges due to the knives I used to cut it. Want to make it as smooth as possible.
  • 0:46 Terrible voice crack
  • and when are you going to make an etsy shop or the like so no skilled people like myself can pay you for your amazing services to help their reptiles? lolBut I mean it, AMAZING work. I have watched several of these, and it still amazes me, going from just blocks to something like that!
  • I Got A UNTAMED LIZARD when i am 7 years old got a lizard by handSmy own pet
  • what kind of foam is that and where can I get it?
  • Where can you purchase Selant and Grout?
  • Awesome video
  • What kind of foam?
  • Where did you get that foam at ?
  • How does the insulation you're using hold up to heat? I understand it wouldn't be directly touching the heat source, but are there any risks to the material heating up and hurting the geckos?
  • I am getting into making hides for my geckos, I have done wood, and Ikea bowls (for traveling). I have a few in the works but I would like to do the foam hides, so my question is where do I get the tools (similar) you used to carve the foam? What should I use to make it waterproof for my crested gecko? I have to leopard geckos.
  • Omg thus us really cool, and very realistic looking. Good job I'll definitely try this
  • Colored grout works.
  • Nice! That looks really good!
  • Thomas Dowd: Go to a craft store, they usually have them.
  • Something he didn't say was to use acrylic paint. Water based paints are non toxic. But can anyone tell me where to buy an exactoknife? I make A LOT of my own things for reptiles. And I'm currently workin on a waterfall but using a razorblade for the cuttin gets old and using a regular knife makes bad cuts
  • Can I buy a hide?
  • What type of foam boards are you using ?
  • That is so cool they should sell it in a store for 13$
  • Do you know anybody who custom makes these to the customer's likings?
  • tank is way too small
  • Make sure you have all you temperatures perfect keep the tank super clean. if you have the gecko on any loose substrate remove it and use paper towels. keep your moist box damp water dish full and if the problem persists try feeding in a small container without any decorations. Just out of curiosity where did you get your gecko from?
  • what type of paint and glue do u use and is it non toxic
  • Awesome
  • could you do one of those exo terra backrounds with burrows and bridges etc.
  • can they die from the paint or Styrofoam
  • Holy crap thats some good carving
  • Can i use regular paint ?? because i made the base !
  • Same for me my baby gecko won't eat I put crickets in his food dish but he wont eat I've have him for about a week can someone please help I don't want him to die :(
  • were did you get the faom ?
  • I buy the foam from building supply stores its usually in their warehouse. They cost around 20 dollars for an 8 foot long board. I would suggest using grout to cover rather than paint. paint is ok but if you want something more durable grout would be better.
  • Coolest gecko hide I've ever seen!!! Pls make more vids !
  • The stuff in this video is 2 inches thick but you could used thiner stuff but i would not go less than one inch.
  • I use a bush and a hot water and vinegar mix to scrub them off.
  • wow you did an awesome job !
  • WOW! INCREDIBLE!
  • ITs extruded polystyrene insulation. I have bought it at building supply stores. So pretty much any place you buy stuff to renovate homes and buy lumber.
  • what kinda styrofoam?
  • got a few questions about your materials. 1. Where can i get the foam you used? 2. Where can i get that knife you used to carve it? Would they have it at a regular craft store like Michaels? 3. What type of sealer do you use after you painted it? I have had an iguana almost all my life and i know some reptiles are very picky about materials used in their home. Any advise would be a huge help! :)
  • Home depot, thats where i found it. Or Lowe's but i never went there for and foam
