• I don't understand why perception has such a big part in taste. Someone can eat something, say "Hey, this is good!" and then when they are told what they ate were escamoles (ant larvae), they spit out what is in their mouth and start vomiting. You JUST said it tasted good, so why does it matter what it is?They say a lot of shredded cheese is packed with wood pulp to prevent clumping. To me, I say "hmm, that's some tasty wood pulp." I have eaten many gross things in my day, but I never turned something down simply because of what it was. I ate silkworm pupae that came in a can and were swimming in some watery grey-brown "gravy" (as the can called it), and they were terrible. Taste should be what makes something bad, not perception.Also, I lost it at "crabs and lobsters are actually arachnids." WHAT THE FU... Are you high?!

• Crabs and lobsters are not arachnids; they are crustaceans. Crustaceans and arachnids are both Arthropods though, meaning they are "cousins"

• As a tarantula owner I can vouch for them being pretty docile creatures. I appreciate the jokes coming from someone who may have a phobia of them, and I do really love these videos, but it does get a little uncomfortable. Viktoria is just as much a baby of mine as I would have for any dog or cat. Not even the wild ones I've caught have ever shown any hostile behavior towards me. There are some species that are aggressive, but as long as you don't go and pester them they're fine.THAT BEING SAIDI do enjoy how informative this is, and I am open minded and not bashing people for eating them. Food is food. Cultures are cultures. I love learning more!

• I spent all last night fixing my arachnophobia by watching videos of these things as pets. And then you made me have a staring contest with one.The man issue I have with spiders is all those eyes. I'm not too bother by tarantulas because the generally don't stare at you like food...and then you gave me a picture of a food tarantula staring at me like food. "Oh my god is that a f*cking spider?" Indeed!BTW: I was wondering exactly what species was the most commonly eaten kind. Pink Zebra you say huh? Huh, imagine that.

• Why is everyone making negative comments about liver? I eat chicken liver all the time and have to say that it's quite delicious, especially when cooked with onions. It is a bit hard to bite pieces off because of the "stretchy" fat texture, but overall it is tasty and rich in protein and vitamins (A & C, I believe).
