that was beautiful. my fav molting vid so far, and that cobalt blue is just phenominal
lol all tarantulas should molt to that music
whats molting?
Amazing simply gorgeous and every way beautiful colours and the music adds a nice touch now... lets see him kill something hahah
very nice molting....did you see the face of a man in his molt? pretty amazing..
nope unless it goes wrong
lol enjoy ...
Cool Man!
so was it dead?
.....dogs molt insects shed, just saying
hey if u can show me the tarantula i could probably identify it
thats amazing, i've never seen an actual blue spider before, my rose hair just moulted last night and its like i have a whole new spider, she's bigger and a brighter pink then ever..its the first time i've seen her do it since i got her..how many more times does this happen and how often?
very kewl vid. i tried to catch my rose hair when she moulted but i got there too late. Had a brand new spider though. how old is she anyway? I'm thinking of gettin either a Goliath, or a blue like this one. havent made my mind up yet.... any suggestions?
That's a pretty rapid molt, it usually takes most several hours. Lovely colors on your boy/girl. And great choice in music.
depends on how long they live
Was this real time? Im starting to think my spiders dead. For one its not on its back and another its legs are curled up and its not moving. Should I be worried? Know what, guess whether it died or molted, by the time you see this comment I will know.
mozart symphony no 9 ..
ang galing !
@mrxexellent When a tarantula is growing it needs to "molt" out of its exoskeleton. This is because the exoskeleton itself doesn't grow! A layer of fluid separates the new exoskeleton from the old and the spider slips out. In this time, the spider grows rapidly. It can take around a week for the new soft exoskeleton to harden.
@EnCrypticon23x Yes I do and it was still really fast in comparison to most molts.
...what did you make
Do you use any type of heating methods on your enclosure? I have a Lasidora Parahybana and my temps are 65-66 at night and 73-75 daytime. I believe that is borderline okay but I wouldn't like peoples opinions on heating and different temps. Thanks guys and girls.
WTF?? I thought only snakes did that shit lol. You learn something new everydamn day.
Holy intense music :O
Right after a molt, cobalts are one of the most beautiful creatures on this planet.
miiiint video m8 my cobalt molted a couple o weeks ago beautiful spiders good choice o tunes aswell lol :)
hell yeh , she is still really blue after her molt i thought she would dull back down when she hardns .
How often do they do this by the way?
Also they are among the strongest creatures on Earth. A tarantula can lift 100x it's own weight. You'd think a spider wasp might be more careful around them but no. 4/8 times the tarantula will kill the wasp before it even knows what hit it.
u should make a video so i can c it sounds mint!!!
@LilBigNish69 adorei esse aloka
it depends really on how long they live for and how big their species grow to
żal kurwa przy takim czymś puszczać Ode Do Radości ...
Classy music for a classy animal.
do any of you know how they do this anyway?
i always turn the heat on, in my room during the day, and turn it off at night.. next morning a have a open widpw for some time, and then before school or work, i turn it on again :)
dude i see mites!!!
a downloaded it and thats what it was called mozart no 9 ....
Now i know what it looks like when a tarantula is molting.
it looks more constipated to me...
amei esse tambem alokaaaaaaaaaaaaa
on a more serious note, whats with the twitching after shes free and how long does she do that? lol
I like how Ode to Joy is playing ...
Thumbs up if you jerked your hands away from the computer screen at 7:07
another molting spider vid with beethoven. There's some kind of correlation between spider owners and their musical taste :S
@Echosofthemind You realize this is a time lapse video, right?
Because spiders have an exoskeleton (unlike humans, our skeleton is on the inside of our body, not outside), they need to go through a process called Moulting. Its frequently done when they are younger. What it does is allows the spider to produce a new exoskeleton (skeleton on the outside of their body).
What a beautiful spider! I want one so badly, but I can't afford the habitat :\
