  • Are you a teacher or something ? Just wondering because you always say that you do teaching.
  • i never get to see my scorpion eat always hidden away and running at me hahaha

  • Oh and you wonder why they died! you are SUPPOSED to feed them every week!!!!!!!!! IDIOT!
  • What would be a good tarantula for a beginner?
  • Ok
  • I love the way my sulphur brown bird eater stays in its burrow then attacks the food
  • What do you mean by hairs hurting you?
  • Hos your brbeatr
  • I have never had a rose hair web that mutch
  • R.I.P pink too

  • have a spider ever escaped
  • Quiet interesting
  • 37:30 F*ck scared the shit out of me
  • that scorpio mouth....
  • how often do you feed ur T's do kids eat more than grown ups?
  • Hey Jon, I would love a spider so much, I am a Arachnophobic but your videos have made me much more comfortable about Tarantulas. My Mother won't allow me to have a Tarantula because she is terrified of ALL spiders. Her reason: I ain't having a big f*cking spider in my house! I am currently 14 years of age, so it will be a LONG LONG time before i even get close to one :( Great video, keep it up!
  • how about watering john do u give them water 2 times a month as well?
  • Hey Jon where is the lawncutting video?
  • All your T's are so unique and gorgeous the colours on some of them are almost iridescent! Love your vids :D
  • Funny lol. With the pokemon
  • Hey Jon! I've been thinking of getting my first T soon. I don't think I will begin collecting any time soon, but I've wanted to get a new pet for a while and a T seems like the best for me. I'm getting a 1" B. albopilosum sling. I know you feed your T's once per month, but would it be better for me to feed it every other week? Also, I understand that T's don't need large cages and do well in small enclosures, but would I be able to keep the 1" sling in the smallest available Critter Keeper?
  • Lets see, Sleep or T feeding video? Sandman is going to be so upset with me.
  • 5-10 years
  • Hey jon !, what is the adult size of a sanctivincenti
  • Hey Jon, I have a sling king baboon tarantula that just molted about a week ago, but i've been able to get it to eat for a long time now, almost worried, i have put baby dubia roaches in it's enclosure but it seems to run away from them rather then go after them... any tips?
  • Gian, I always feed my Ts 1 superworm a month as you have seen in my 108 feeding videos and they're fine. It's really up to you but not I would NEVER offer 1 every week. Once or twice a month is fine
  • Daisy looks beautiful~ I love how she eats.
  • yeah but atleast until its 1" , just to survive
  • Thank you for getting back to me jon, i was just worrying a little there, so i expect it to be there for a while then lol!
  • Hei, Really this is up to you, feed it as much as you want to, 2 twice a week, 3 times a week. It varies from owner to owner. If this helps you any, I powerfeed my mature females 3-4 superwoms one week before I mate them...I ONLY do this so the male doesn't get eaten. From personal experience, I strongly discourage powerfeeding slings unless its avicularia because there's a lot of risks that outweigh the only benefit (of maturing faster).
  • venom like how? Was she In a threat posture, or maybe she drank water from her dish and there was droplets on her mouth making you think it's venom?
  • I was just curious as I've seen people handle goliaths though I know from reading they're very defensive T's in particular. Thank you for your response, I look forward to watching more videos from you.
  • these are superworms.. not hard at all to keep
  • I have a feeling you'd do feeding vids for your kids when/if you have them haha (jk), I loved this video im glad I watched it all the way through :)
  • It depends on the individual specimen. I'm sure you've seen people handle the extremely defensive Ts, even cobalt blues on youtube... but they take a great risk in getting bitten.
  • Arboreals will jump..even the Avicularia; some specimens do at least anyway. I personally would get the sp.fire since they're darn rare to find. If you want to get arboreals go for A.avics (late juveniles to adults). The versicolors aren't as friendly
  • sorry I meant 1st instars :)

  • ok. how was the p irminia breeding project?
  • Hey Jon is it okay to feed b. albopilosum (curly hair) meal worms
  • Hi! If you do feed all you T's once in a mont or often so do you give/spray water them so rarely too?
  • Justin, As I mentioned in previous vids...it's completely normal for Ts to fast for awhile. P.muticus are slow growers like G.rosea, they will fast on occasion. If it's running away from the dubia...it's telling you its scared of it, possibly because it's way too large. They will do that. I personally would use B.dubia when the Ts are late juveniles. They are too large and have very hard exoskeletons
  • Nice feeding vid as usual, Jon ;)
  • Dominik is correct; If not fed heavily, Females will live 20-30 years (if you remember last year my female died at age 25) and males live 5-7 years. Power/overfeeding Ts WILL reduce these numbers.
