• Hi, I live here in Singapore, and many of my terrariums don't seem to live very long. They typically die out a few months later. I'm guessing the temperatures in the north are probably more suited for many mosses. Here, the daily temperature can reach up to 30 deg celsius. Plus the mosses you have aren't a common sight here, but I would really want some. Do you have any idea why my terrariums aren't as healthy as yours? Perhaps the potting medium? Perhaps temperatures? Or simply other climatic factors beyond my control? thanks. -Nathan

• I'm working on building a awesome tank for my Garter snake. I would love to know what moss I could use to create a floating land mass like a bog. I collected some unknown moss here in a Texas creek and placed it in my tank I mist it everyday but have no idea how much light it should get or how much water. It's starting to brown. I'm not good at keeping moss alive. Could you give me pointers and info on what I need and what I should do? • Hi Jeremiah, hope you're well! I've taken inspiration from your moss garden, it's awesome! I've been out and collected my own culture which is doing really well. I'm in the UK. Would be great to see a video on making one. My problem at the moment is small amounts of mould growing that I want to control naturally, do you have any ideas?

I've been working on an herb terrarium and would like to incorporate some moss, but I'm still not sure what type to go with, or if it matters what species I use, and whether or not it needs special treatment after being harvested from the wild. • i don't understand how these are self maintaining. won't they die/mold if they don't have ventilation? how do you give them both ventilation and humidity without misting daily?
