Positive, Female. Males have hooks on the first pair of legs and look more red. That is a girl tarantula.
You have to look at the back males have bald spots on their abdomen when they age to mature

some advice/info rose hairs arent supposed to eat things like cock roaches/super worms etc.. though people still feed them those anyways but after inttensive studying of these beautiful creatures all i keep finding is NOT to give them those things and as to the agressiveness the rose hair is the most docile species you can own i pick mine up everyday they wont bite you at most on rare occassions they might make a threatening pose dont mess with them when they do this because sometimes they can be testy creatures however if your holding her and she does this pose dont do nothing untill she goes out of the pose then i would put her back in the tank asap as shes becoming stressed but theres 0 risk of bites unless you dont know how to handle her...enjoy your beautiful rose hair tarantula
Dude .....your only suppose to feed it twice a week. And u cant let the abdomen get to big because it will start draging on the floor and make the tarantulas life hard. Quick tip.

Very nice T and cool video, a Dubia every couple days is more than necessary for a Rose hair. They are known to go into long fasting periods if they are fed to much. One Dubia a week should be good enough.
