  • I have severe arachnophobia, and even small spiders make me panic, sweat, and almost cause me to have a panic attack.. but watching this made me smile, because this is true - its still a living creature! Its still just as important as my cat or my little hamster!
  • People are IDIOTS for hating on beautiful specimens like these! This is what the media did but making monsters out of these creatures and to all those Arachnophobic people? Please GROW A PAIR for these creatures aren't really the monsters you're trying to project! And she was right: Your dog is more likely to take a bite out of you than this creature!
  • She is so beautiful. :) I used to have a tarantula, but I was very little and don't remember much about them. My parents told me they were more scared to pick him up than I was! I would love to get a new one, soon.
  • Do you let your tarantula go up your snatch to explore?
  • She looks so fuzzy. Isn't it true that they can recognize their owner's scent and will sometimes seek refuge with him or her if threatened?
  • *claps*!!!!!!
  • I love you, girl.
  • I am terrified of spiders, but she seems nice :)How fast and unpredictable are they? Those are the main reasons I hate spiders.
  • Thank you for explaining to people that this animal is no different then a dog or cat, that it still has a soul as pure as a living thing. It's hard to explain the thing that all animal lovers and people that have the same passion as u and me see in animals by I think u explained it as close as possible. Lovely video.
  • So what enjoyment is there to have with owning this as a pet? Aside from having it, uh.. crawl up and down your arm.
  • I chuckled when you said she likes having her butt pet x3I usually have very strong arachnophobia, but I'll admit, tarantulas.. Seem almost cute. And i wouldn't mind touching, and maybe holding, one
  • All spiders are venomous. That's how they eat. How it effects humans is a different story, though. So, you're wrong.
  • You need to be more positive in your videos. I'm not trying to be a dick, but the whole time watching this I thought I did something wrong.
  • Whenever I see a spider somewhere in my house, I kill it instantly. (Unless it's a Carpenter Spider.) But Recently I've noticed that Tarantulas don't phase me NEARLY as much as say a Black Widow or a Wolf spider would. I'm actually looking to get one as a pet soon. :)
  • You're one of those nerdy kinda chicks that could easily be a supermodel
  • Very beautiful....
  • Ooh I want a pet tarantula but my family is really afraid of spiders. I'll have to wait till I move out. Hopefully I'll have lots of time to learn about them and decide if I really want to take care of one of these babies
  • I have a turantula and I love it I'm not afraid and i Ustashi be afraid of one when I was little but know that I watched this video i love spiders
  • I would deep fry and eat that spider
  • Nuts... I am allergic to bee stings. :(
  • Thats One Beautiful Spider so cute ! i will get one eventually :)
  • Honestly, your arrogant attitude made me instantly unsubscribe.
  • I have a tarantula and I love him I'm just very carefull with him because I'm afraid to drop him and I'm kinda not Ustashi him yet but great video
  • she's so cute omg i kind of want one
  • Now that I've established where I stand, I can get on with what I want to say. I've heard that species can be temperamental, that said you've got a rather well mannered one there.I've personally owned cats most of my life, though I did have a parakeet and a ferret in the past. The ferret received as much hate as is given to T's. I too had to explain how they are pleasant loving creatures who's only truly bad quality is their smell. Mine was an adult when we got him, given to us by his neglectful owner after seeing that we took better care of him than he did. He lived a long happy life with us, and was good friends with our younger cats. They even played together when they were young, she'd never hurt him, and occasionally he'd win. He eventually died of liver cancer at the age of about 9 years. Sage (the cat who grew up with him) was very sad. She was my girl after my original cat died when I was 17, and much like her she too eventually went in her sleep, though from heart failure rather than old age. I still cry when I think about her.Now I live with my aunt's 2 dogs, both breeds known for a bad rep: a German Shepard, and a pitbull/lab. The former fancies herself as a hoopsnake, while the latter thinks she's a cat. I was never as big a fan of dogs compared to cats until living with them. Now...I love them, but I still can't get used to the smell.
  • When you cant say that because haplopelma genus is really defencesive genus but i do have a T's but just to say that dont say that cuz if they got bite by the old world T's they might hate these but the T's that most people(beginer) mostly pet the new world tarantula
  • i have a slight arachnopobia but i'm trying to get over it. i'm hoping to get a sling at the next reptile expo i go to because they DO intrigue me. despite being scared, i feel that i will get over it with confidence. I was slightly scared of snakes, i got over that and own a snake of my own as well as work with them at my job. ;D
  • I have one of those tarantulas and she is so nervous all the time :(
  • lol, accept they are venomous. you literally just said they are not venomous or poisonous or anything of the sort, then you go on to say you would be fine unless you had an allergy to her venom...
  • Nicely Spoken !!! so true !I'd rather take a Tarantula than a cat :)i hate it when people talk bad about those sweet T's :)people should be shocked when the world has no spiders or T's :) nice T arachnequeen ! :D
  • Just get scissors and snip off the legs.
  • My curly hair flicked her hair at me a few times today when i tried holding her, she didnt rear up but I was a little concerned. Is it ok to hold her or should I leave it? She usually just walks off slowly when you gently touch her leg but she flicked a few times before deciding to walk away. Is there also a way to get her ust to hands because she seems to dislike touching skin, thank you x
  • I was told its impossible to be allergic to the venom because of the molecular structure i was told that you can be allergic to the hairs though
  • I am only 8 years old and you just told my grandma a lesson!! I am getting a trantula tomorrow and today is Thursday. YOU ARE AWESOME! ! I can't wait tomorrow! !!!#!!!!!!
  • I have an extreme phobia for most bigger bugs, spiders and tarantulas but I have started watching videos with these animals in it to step by step get over my phobia. But it feels like I wanna throw up looking at that. But I agree with your words, They are in fact living creatures just like every other pets, so they should still be respected. And that comes from me who'd rather die than be in same room as one of these, that is how bad my phobia is.
  • I couldn't watch this all the way through. Your lisp was too much. It's adorable.
  • Your rose hair is one gentle and calm fellow. Mine would claw the shit out of my arm...But I guess she just likes to ride the crazy train.
  • All tarantulas have some venemon in them
  • best one to get is a calm not agressive one for beginners like the chilean rose hair like this one cuz some can be very agresssive allways watch out for black widows and brazillian wondering spider most deadly not for pet owning
  • So much truth.Ive been trying to get a T for sooo long but my dad claims to be afraid. Except he says "They're so ugly and deadly, why would you want one?"I really don't mind anyone saying they wouldn't be able to sleep with one in their house, which is what he said when I first asked, but every time I talk about it now he gets uber rude and puts me and the idea down. Really all i see is an adorable little creature, something waaay more fascinating than a puppy.Respect for the great video♥
  • You ladys are awesome! That is one of the best videos of a) tarantula handling, b) general explanation and c) having a pair of balls to stick 2 fingers up at haters, I have ever seen! Rock on girl and I hope you and your gorgeous 8 legged lady are doing well! Rock on!
  • I remember when I was in my early teens and my Dad would not get me a dog so I got a tarantula then my little sister decided to stomp on it when I turned my head to talk to a friend. Now I'm a owner of 2 tarantulas and a corn snake.
  • I'm getting my first T,either march or. April,a rose hair, actually held two roses, a brown and a red haired,it was very cool but I was nervous, but after I held the red haired,It wasn't bad at all,I'm thinking of getting a Mexican red knee or pink toe for my second one.
  • Sorry if this is an ignorant question, I really don't know anything about tarantulas as pets. But can they learn things? Like clicker training or little tricks like spinning in a circle for a treat? And how can you tell when they're happy, or sad, or scared? How do they communicate their needs to their owners?
  • Seriously amazing video. I am deathly scared of spiders (29 year old guy.. pathetic isn't it? lol) but I actually like tarantulas. While I wouldn't have one as a pet (Nothing to do with my fear) I do think they are sweet as pets. Watching her crawl around your arm exploring reminds me of one of my Gerbils and how they explore when I pick them up. It's easy to forget they are an animal the exact same as a Dog, cat, gerbil, hamster, rat etc. They just wana get on with their little lives and don't go out to scare people. I don't agree with people who hate on tarantula owners... The only time I personally 'hate' on them are when you get owners who own them and don't do their research and end up causing them harm. I recently found a video of a 'chav' (It's a UK word) who basically owned one because he thought it made him seem 'hard' or tough. As he owned it for this reason he had NO idea how to treat it and was seen picking it up by the legs, attempting to feed it human food and basically being an asshole. ANYWAY..ill shut up now lol Amazing video! :)
  • Humans fear what they don't understand , they fear what doesn't fit in their likes. This is humanity :3
  • aww she's cute, I just got my own Rose hair tarantula :) Ignore the haters spread the love <3
  • Love the compassion and understanding showed in this video. clicked like as I freak myself out in the process.
