  • @maskisland2 LOL,she has no chance against the blue bomber :)
  • so is this mating done or will u pair them up again
  • She Is Huge !!!
  • @Kazahmish Ya, it is pretty dark sorry about...check the video a little later..I just added brightness to the video so we can make out the figure of the female. I didn't want to flash the light because it would have scared her
  • you should do an update on this mating
  • How hard is it to mate a choco golden knee T
  • @lexxielightning I know, I was fearing the worst, but lucky both were good ;)
  • i wish you luck with a succesful eggsac in some monts... awesome spider porn!
  • do work gomez!
  • Very interesting and enjoyable to watch. To see something like this happen on a computer screen is incredible as we don't get the chance to see nature taking it's course like that without actually being there. I am glad the male survived and the female was so well behaved and calm. Great video Jon. Thanks for sharing.
  • @bluedragon1876 should be as easy as this..remember to keep the female well fed
  • I love your videos!
  • My male vagans is like a clone of yours! Same size and the way he ran out of the cage at the end after being so calm haha mine does the same. Ooh and my versicolor had its first molt! I really love that T already
  • You can always borrow the male to test it out for yourself. I would since he won't live long to see her molt again. Congrats Jon
  • @talon4wd thanks :)
  • A successexful pairing!
  • @Gaming4You1990 so did I. Nice collection of games btw. I gave you some advice on your NES tour...it should help you
  • LOL. If the female decides to attack, she'll have to face MEGAMAN!!
  • I apologize but mating tarantulas is new for me. Why do you have to try for a second pairing?
  • I had to laugh when you said that you can see how much bigger the female is to the male.. and I said.. No we can't.. and just then you apologized for the darkness of the vid.. yeah.. until you turned on the flashlight we couldnt see anything of the female.. good vid anyways.. thanks Jon.. keep us posted..
  • good work and good luck
  • oops, sorry I'll change the description thanks... It's his male and my female
  • Hey Jon i was wondering in the description why does it say my male with (Mr.K00KI3M0NST3R)'s mature male?i'am confused which is the female again?
  • @Jon3800 thanks bro, good job on a great first mating, good luck with the rest!
  • Insertion! Good luck with the rest of the process.
  • wow0.0 she is so much biger then him lmao(x
  • Congratulations on this successful mating attempt , was more like a sure thing to me =)
  • @HatesStupidPeople194 sweet man, You'll love them
  • Tim, you can always try to see her receptiveness, but personally 4'' is a bit small to be breedable. Like I said in the mating mythbuster video...the ideal way to tell a mature female is to a) Know the sizes of full grown females. As you B.vagans are 7-8'' as fully mature females. Sub-adults (1.5-2'') away from full size are considered mature. In other words a 5-6'' B.vagans is mature. This works for most species b) Try to see if she'll drum to the male. I
  • Hey Jon, couple questions 1. how does a MM know when to start tapping becasue it seemed he knew that a female was present. 2. how can you tell when a female is mature and mating ready. please right back and possibly post a vid showing me how. im sure many other people are wondering the same. thanks!
  • Thanks for the info, Jon!! I love your videos and I'm constantly learning from them. :)
  • Congragcolations man
  • @ThisKidVids 1) The MM picks up the scent from her webs and her phermones. 2) I did explain this in detail in at least 2 of my mating tutorial videos (most notably this video watch?v=rmqbn4_WkyE) Females are mature... a) when their in between molts are very long compared to the juvenile stage b) When they are 1-2'' away from full size.
  • @DerpShroom Roughly around 400-800 eggs give or take a few.
  • nice man, got my first B vagans today. they are gorgeous.
  • I'm so happy for these vids good job i have watch your videos for years, nice 480p btw happy its not 240 anymore!
  • It's cute how breeding looks like when the female is not aggressive during it.
  • I was thinking as soon as i saw her that she was going to just crush him with her bulk :o but nice job and how many eggs do they lay in a sac average?
  • Why can they not be all this easy..... But, I have to say my heart was racing as he was going towards her hide, I thought "any minute she is going to pounce on him", luckily she never.... On a side note, I don't think i will get chance to breed my B.vagans as the female is still too small, and by the time she is ready my MM will probably be dead... Shame really as This was one species I really wanted to breed... Hopefully I will get lucky and find a mature female to buy soon.
  • I did make an update during sometime in July- August 2012...The mother didn't make a good eggsac and the MM died :(
  • nice... and no fuss.. hope its easy the second time
  • awwesome stuff, congrats on a good first pairing and good luck with the next ones! that was surprisingly gentle for a vagans pairing.
  • @Dani87GN Dani, the more times you pair...the better chance you have getting a good sac..I've mated my P.regalis twice and got a sac
  • How appropriate for Valentines day :D
  • @TheThaiGuySC2 Yup, I can make them in 720p if you like
  • I also mated them on March 21st (it's on the suggestions box) and she nearly killed him.
  • Hi Jon. I hope you are well. My female Vagans recently molted and she is now around 4 inches, Her last 2 molt dates were Oct 28, 2012 and March 29, 2013... you think she's ready to breed? I have a MM i can borrow from a friend. :-)
  • @ThisKidVids For example, if you've seen my PZB (I mated her a couple of days ago)... she is 4'' ( full size of this species is 5.5-6'', as you might know) and she takes about 1.5-2 years before she decides to molts again...so she's a mature specimen. She also responds to the MM, another sign of a mature specimen. If you want I can make another video explaining it if it's still unclear.
