  • For a terrestrial species like this I would say u need an enclosure that you can fit the spider next to itself around 4 times! For the floor space and not too high I'd say the top of the substrate to the roof of the enclosure should be no further apart than the length of your hand! Don't put a spiderling straight into a full sized enclosure as u may stress it out :) hope this helps a little! The rules are a rough guideline btw not set in stone!!
  • Would dessert sand be suitable for the mex red knee aswell?
  • I was thinking of getting a tarantula (the same as yours) in the near future. But i don't know how big the enclosure should be since obviously if its a female it will grow huge i reckon and will live close to 30 years, so i want a big enclosure but i need your thoughts on this.
