Actually, no tarantula venom is "lethal" to humans. Some species' bites definitely warrant a trip to the hospital and leave you hurting for a few months, but there are no recorded deaths cause by tarantula bites. ; )

don't do that, the calcium from the bones of the mice is bad for your tarantula. Also the mouse could hurt the T (if still alive). stay with dubias and crickets

if the enclosure you moving it from is small enough it may be an idea to place the smaller enclosure into the larger one and just leave the lid off maybe the spider will climb out and you can remove the smaller tank later

maybe but its not mine. and it eats the whole thing bones and all. and its a live mouse too. i understand but it is so awesome to see a spider eat something like that. i want to get one after taking care of it for the owner. i handle her like a gerbil. i can just pick her up and set her in my hand and pet her. most awesome tarantula i have handled.
with the obt i always wait till its just molted that way the fangs are too soft to do any damage i had mine in a small plastic tank with a piece of tree in the obt always webbed the tree and hid in the web so when it molted i set the new enclosure up tied a piece of rope round the tree lifted out and just placed it in the new enclosure.for my pokies and brachys i just get them in a long sweet jar or spaghetti jar and move them that way
