I'd say this size female would be around $150~200, if it was male about $100.
@BrianG2063 I dont suppose you know if it is possible to get them in Australia? they look awesome!
Thanks, I just got her and waiting for a year. They are harder to get now, and pricey. She's a pretty girl.
I really hope you've replaced those wood chips with coco fiber. Wood chips and bark are an extremely abrasive substrate, and sand also. Coco fiber and sphagnum peat moss(with no additives) are the best substrate. Non-abrasive, and much nicer-looking, too. :)
shes nice looking, whats the substrate?
@youboob6022 yes very bad
You are a noob sry but the humus is not right for the T. and the T is not happy for the rehousing sry thats fact
i cought mine in mexico :D
@jejeboy11 i know alot about tarantulas. Goliaths arnt as aggressive as they say. they arnt venomous but it hurts like hell. I know never to force the either.
@BrianG2063 our pet store has lots of mexican red knees in ireland!

Hey cool tarantula I have just gotten into them a while back i got one and will be getting another one.
@tandereeno what I did is asked the pet store to order it for me and around a week later they had it in and called me
iv been told these are good for beginers but it looks a bit big, and like you need experience. am i wrong?
@thegiant1 I live in Southern Ontario, Canada and I got a B.smithi for $50 bucks from tarantula canada at the missiasauga expo!
i would stick to room temp.
see them two things sticking out of its ass what are they?
I don't use any heaters, just room temp, and they seem fine.
There are taratulas that burrow and build silk lined tunnels in the ground. Others live in trees and make aerial nests out of silk wat is this one I REALE WANT IT TO BE A TREE ONE WIT A WEB
@wh00pwh00p69 b/c we look as these beautiful creatures & not as 8 legged, hairy, deadly spiders.......Tarantulas dont even try to attack or bite us humans unless we do sumthin to provoke it. You kno how many people have died from the bite of a tarantula? You can count on your fingers & people have them as pets. If you dont like it so much, why you watching a video on it? jus wonderin
sweetness they're a beatiful type of spider
i just got one at pet land for $ 35 they order me one and it got there in 4 days lol
@arcaglgab I got mine in Reptile haven in Dublin, they have a lot of baby mexican red kness, mines 4 months old. its the best place to but any reptiles.

cool spider:) i have a red knee too! But shouldn't she be walking on eco-earth instead of those wood chips??
@killerslayer543 no goliath bird eater is way do agresive to handle mexican red knee is a very great way to start
Your Sarah is like, the PERFECT imagine of a Mexican Red Knee! I'm totally in love with this species of tarantula! What kind of cage do you keep her in? How many inches of substrate do you use for her cage?
hey i plan on buying one. is a mexican red knee a good start? i never had a tarantula before. i want a goliath bird eater :( but im in canada. whats a good temp for them?
In England they are easy to get hold of my local pet shop always has a couple
do they sell these in all countries or what? I'm thinking about getting a tarantula and i like this breed
@skateboy142 hey how big is ur red knee? i have 1/2 inch slings was wondering how big they will be at 4 months?
Im gettin 1
I love this type of tarantula, it is so beautiful, where did u get her from.
Another thing these are much better beginner tarantulas than rose hairs due to the rose hairs random actions such as not eating for months and some people have said they randomly bite too mine hasn't yet at all tho bit it never eats
@wh00pwh00p69 Haha a lot of people are. Mexican Redknees are fairly docile though.
what is the temp there meant to be at
