  • @crowofdeath2 Well I hope there is some type of defense besides just some leather/material.
  • your spider is sweet its $100 right
  • dont those things live in holes in the ground?
  • Actually, most of them do contain venom, just it's so weak its little worse then a bee sting.
  • @faghawk11 dude. I'm speaking from personal experiences here, these things are
  • nice arms lol
  • Pussy!!! Take the baseball mitt off
  • @vonillahead217 You despicable human, tarantulas are not poisonous. I wish you were dead.
  • The bird eater is a more aggressive spider but if he really doesn't need gloves... I seen a young girl (like 13 or 14 years old) let her Goliath crawl on her face and on her head.
  • this one , he is a gentle giant , i took mine into schools and taught kids about them and hell the kids held my spiders with no problem even this one , and you have a mitt on , LOL no offence but its not needed with this spider they are harmless
  • @hypnotize221 Grow some intelligence and read a little. A bite isn't the only reason why someone would hold a tarantula with gloves on.
  • racism? i didnt say nothin bout ur damn race
  • ayo,,dont feed her too much vertabrates, they cant handle all that calcium and alot of time get "wet molts" shes beautiful bro..miss mine.
  • LOL! that T will bite right through that silly leather glove man! you better buying medieval knight plate steal gloves! her fangs gotta be 1"1/2 long already.
  • and i work at a petstore.. no need for racism .. love you xo
  • i thought this video would be of a giant bird eating a tarantula
  • @vonillahead217 anyway most people who work in petshops are completely retarded, not knowing a single thing about the species their shop keeps, you have just demonstrated this.
  • A fine goliath spider there sir!
  • Hell no. It still has some growing to do.
  • Honestly it doesn't matter if you have gloves lol, they will bite through it.
  • if i ever saw one of this i would spray that shit with w-d40 and burn it
  • i dont think they have tarantulas in australia? there just called Goliath Bird Eating spiders or am i rowg? Thanks nice Spider!
  • @jagger1865 Exactly. As long as you're gentle with them you would be fine, and I was inexperienced at the time. I held mine once without gloves, not smart because they're really aggressive . He wasn't full grown either.
  • You say their bite is dangerous, Goliath Bird Eaters are NOT that dangerous in terms of bites. Yeah their bite will hurt, but their venom is nothing compared to that of a P. regalis or other Poecilotheria species. Their bite is comparative to a wasp sting, nothing more.
  • ha ha motherfuckers flicking you off
  • Why would someone want a spider for a pet?
  • OMFG EWWW
  • Now that's a big spider C_C an they can get even bigger then that not a LOT bigger but still there Huge! and ya... he's not wearing the gloves for bites, it's for the poisonus hairs on there back that they flick off if you piss em off. Think of it as a porkypine hitting you with there needles just in this case there alot smaller needles. :P
  • Who cares about the spider.... This guy is hot! Lol
  • does it leave big holes if it bites?
  • thatd be a nice $150 on fire!
  • All tarantulas main diet consists of insects only appart from ''birdeaters'' which may eat a vertibrate only once or twice a year when adult, any more and the spider will die, bird eating spiders do not actually eat birds in the wild!!!
  • kill it! kill it with fire!
  • uh no such a large spider cant feed of insects has to be mouse size or bigger for such a big spider fyi these things get bigger record is 13 inches nearly twice this ones size!!!
  • funny thing is if it bite him the glove wont help from the 1 inch fangs
  • Screw tarantulas.... They are scary as hell
  • dead or alive i will never hold this kind of spider
  • @PositivelyPissed yeah but then he would ware a long sleeve shirt he said he had some on his eye or some crap so really there of no use
  • dude for all you guys who call him a pussy im pretty damn sure you wouldnt hold it bare handed either so quit your bitchin
  • @vonillahead217 how do you think animals were before being domesticated? Wild... I hate people that say that
  • @weirdduder10 ya u did. u said spiders are poisonous and tarantulas are strong spiders
  • @ckurtz74 No it is getting ready to bite the guy that is holding it.
  • Twice the size. This one is easily 10-11 inches leg span, it's pretty much filly grown
  • if it bites you it wont do much but those hairs can blind you if you get them in your eye
  • well people who pick up spders or tarantulas with a glove r a fucking woos and yes i have picked up spiders with my bare fucking hands the reason why i do it is b cause i have know fear at all picking up arachnids of any kind
  • @hypnotize221 u wouldn't
  • Dude. You idiot. He's molting. You don't handle them then. He kicked a hair in your eye? Good, serves you right.
  • It dosen't seem agressive. I heard that they can be agressive when in the cage and become less agressive when out of their territory. I don't blame them to wear glove, it seems that the uricating hairs are really itchy and that, for weeks. I have a G. pulchripes and gosh, the hairs on that thing is awfull, so I can imagine T. blondi here!
