for anyone planning on using these methods, only use them for examination purposes. Even though the T might not show it, Tarantulas get stressed out from being picked up. i like to let my T do the walking, not force the pick up. not saying that they're not valid methods. its just that you dont want to do this daily to a T. they get nothing out of being picked up, just insurance that they're being looked after.
If you see a tarantula in your house, don't panic because tarantulas are actually quite friendly. One thing though.... You don't want to piss them off

i have a question. My T gets defensive when I only touch her abdomen or legs..just to get her to move. How should I go about picking her up when she's that defensive? I only need to pick her up when i need to clean her cage...

adorable tarantula. some people are creeped out by them but docile species like the pink toe and the chilean rose are quite comfortable and let you hold them. also the docile ones are cute and adorable.
i was holding my rose hair and when i was putting him in his tank i dropped him 3 inches from the ground i cant tell if he is or not? but note that he is my first tarantula and it was my first time holding him

That looks like a zebra knee/stripe knee not a rose hair T. Rose hairs are very red and yours have obvious stripes on it's knees.

YOUR T is VERY tolerant! My Rose Hair is not at all open minded about any kind of touching! Also, the species and individual you are handling makes a difference, right?

i got a spider for my 11 year old birthday and i always wanted a spidcer and after 2 weeks my mom sprayed it with some kinda soap and killed. Getting a new one on my 16 birhtday. AND YES i will have a lock so my mom wont get to the spider

your sending the wrong signal dude, that's a very "poor" and docile albopilosum, but every T has different personality, you can't do that to an obt, to a pokie or to other old world T's without the risk of getting bitten, they are like goldfish that should only be appreciated by the sense of sight and not by the sense of touch, any would be beginner might follow this video and might get what they're asking for, so please do everyone a favor and rephrase the title of your video to 'the stupidest thing to do with your T' ok

How to handle A. geniculata (L13 oraz bigger) - she's very flicky and sometimes, when frightened, very quick. I want sometimes get her on my hand, but I feel it's risky - should I try it or get more calme sp.?
