Ya, mine eats crickets...my kids would shit themselves if I toss a baby mouse in...they would hate me. My youngest thought the baby crickets where cute..took a minute to get over that.

I have two rosies and sometimes a pink is all they will eat. Chileans can refuse food. One of mine the male goes months without touching anything. The female usually grabs whatever she can! I do not like feeding pinkies but if it means they will eat when they have been on a jag I will.

I already "got some learning", I just graduated highschool on my way to university. and did you even read my comment? some pet stores sell these for the sole purpose of feeding other animals. they're labeled as specialty food, but I mentioned that, obviously you didn't read what I said 2 comments ago.

@dyakejake lol sorry about the rude comment but i get worked up about Ts your roaches should do them fine but it is known that feeding mice to a T can be fatal if you want to treat the Ts try a variety in diet as i do with mine toss them a locust every now and then or a superworm or even a red runner roach take care

I own a Chilean Rose, and I don't think I could bear feeding it a pinky mouse, especially watching it struggle away and look as if it was letting out tiny screams D: Crickets that are fed on fresh carrots is all mine will be getting :)

Like I said before too, my other half is not exactly a fan of spids :p But he's not too fussed by them. :) Should be getting some videos up soon of our beardies too. Got a brilliant video the other night of two of them chasing a fly that got into their tank :p

I'm sure that nature doesn't work by you putting a baby mice into a tarantula enclosure. I have a Chilean rose hair, but I feed mine super worms and crickets. Also the tarantula gets calcium from the mice which makes it harder for them to mault as they have exoskeletons and not bones!!!

This is an extremely bad thing to do! Not because it's "wrong" or "cruel" but because it will damage your Tarantla! All the calcium in the bones of mice will harden the shell of the tarantula and make it extremely difficult to molt! And you might want to consider putting a little more substrate into the tank, at least another two inches.

do you see any scientist putting it on youtube do you even see the cutting them up open when they are alive no. mice rats get tested for cure if i remember correctly. but for people who give baby animals and give them to they spiders or snake is animal cruelty. do you even know what that means? do you even know the law then if anyone who gives life animals to be eaten is against the law check it up if you want and then reply back to me.

Thank you for this vid! Pretty Rosie! I was going to feed my Rose Hair her first pinky today. I think ill just stick to crickets and superworms. I know its natural but just something about ME feeding a T. a baby that has no defense or way or escape is wrong for me. Kinda like a 200 pound full grown man punching a infant girl face and calling it self defense. I'm not saying you are wrong for doing it! Just not for me.
@dyakejake I feed my Scorpion crickets and other bugs like grasshoppers . What I am getting at is look how long it took for the mouse to die. Im not saying it wouldnt happen in nature but theres no need to feed a mouse to a tarantula. So dont take my comment as me being a dick to you cause i am not trying to be. I just dont see the point in feeding live rodents to any kind of Insect.

@EpicMoz Yea they are awesome. mine had an operation a few weeks ago. He had a abscess in his eye. He's ok now though :) He's just part of my zoo aswell, also got 4 bearded dragons, 5 rats, a chinese hamster, a blizzard corn snake and ofcourse my little chili rose. :)
@EpicMoz mines the same. she just sits and watches her prey for ages.
