  • damn it!!! I like frogs!!! They deserve something better :P Try with cockroaches.
  • Feed it crickets from a pet store, not frogs you find in your garden! You have no idea what the frog has been eating or been contaminated with.
  • Just saying, that's a toad.
  • I have just seen some of this JonahVore person's videos. Yeah, there is something a bit sadistic about sacrificing baby animals as prey on a regular basis. It's too bad that he doesn't just stick with adult prey more often. (Why doesn't he just feed that hungry, monster monitor lizard some Ts. lol It would be interesting to see that reptilian monster chomp on some of those.)
  • heres something to stop arguing about toads and frogs being dangerous did this actually kill the tarantula? or is it still alive and healthy
  • RIP frog. now your frog buddies know.... dont fuck with mexicans!!!
  • It's not very easy for them though. Their eyesight is terrible so their main means of locating a meal is by feeling for vibrations with their legs. So failing that they would have to locate it by smell lol.
  • @Skeleflexcrazy Not strictly true. Spiders will take dead food from time to time as they are opportunistic feeders and if they're hungry enough they will scavenge. This is mainly prevalent in slings but adults will resort to it as well..
  • how often do u have to feed her/him?
  • thats one of the stupidest things ive ever heard considering they eat flies
  • Interesting. I had heard that mice were bad for Ts, but I didn't know the reason until now. Thanks. PS: Millions of years ago, when the dinosaurs became extinct, if Ts had eaten mice on a regular basis, humans might not have ever evolved. And so, it is a bit scary seeing a T eat a mouse sometimes.
  • peer günt - bad boys are here
  • Not trying to be a dick or anything but its actually a toad, frogs have smooth skin n live in water, those aren't good to feed spiders i don think, but I've rarely fed mine a toad, not very pretty cuz they leave most of it to dry up lol
  • its a good red knee tarantula, i have one, its female and i dont know how to do to make her eat in the moment as i want...can you help me?
  • Agreed. And, interestingly enough, that phenomenon is not limited to pet Ts. For instance, would you believe me if I told you that I once came across a guy in college whose first name was Michelle? Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk! :-D
  • lol dude the skull makes it more awesome
  • Ah thats epic i was gonna get a Mexican Red Knee but i ended up getting a Costa Rican Stripe Knee (Zebra Patterned) :D
  • I miss my Pink Toed Tarantula :(
  • The comments are funny in here. Everyone is the expert haha. Regarding food. A B.smithi probably wouldn't come across a frog in its wild habitat however if it did it would nail the shit out of it and eat it . The substrate in the video isn't ideal however it probably wouldn't cause serious damage and if the T didn't like it then it would spend most of its time on the side of the tank. T's will eat anything they can overpower including mammals, reptiles and other inverts... Anything goes.
  • i want one :(
  • namnam godis
  • @TheMrAnonymus QQ
  • I don't like this video b/c Mexican red knee tarantulas don't belong eating toads & their not the same habitat species!!!
  • dont poke the spider with you finger, use your hole hand, lay it down flat infront of the spider and nudge its backlegs lightliy, let it walk on to your hand. i prefer this method as it allow me to see the mood it is in, "skiddish" calm etc. i rarely pick the spider up with my fingers. but its also a good way.. place your fingers between the second and third leg pair.. remember that they are very fragile and can split their abdomen open if you drop them on a hard surface over like 0.5 meters
  • Du borde inte mata den med vilda djur, dom kan ha en massa sjukdomar och parasiter
  • that was a toad lol
  • is he eating the god damn frog?
  • That was definitely not a frog; it was a toad. Yes it is nature. However, I feel there is no need to feed a T a vertebrate. Feeding a tarantula vertebrates can cause molt problems for them. I have a T myself, and would never risk her health for my own entertainment. Feeding insect like roaches and crickets are much safer for them to eat. The only thing that upsets me is vertebrates can feel pain. They can feel the pain of being eaten alive. When you step on an insect or arachnid
  • please change your substrate
  • the person who posted this vid is fucking retarded
  • @82henkz i need some help my spider is acting funny she wont eat but her fur isnt dark and she FRESHLY molted last month!
  • Mexican Redknee? His terrarium should have a little Futbol field in it with a soccer ball he can push around and stuff....and a little miniature chia-lawn with a lawnmower that he can use to mow the mini-lawn every day...Then he'll be a REAL mexican spider :D
  • what song is this?
  • Spiders creep me out :x
  • @Skeleflexcrazy Seriously dude, chill out. Some frogs can live with pesticides that are absorbed into their skin, however a T wont. It will die. You really think you know more about animals then these people on here? You are truly mistaken my friend. No offense, but you are not making yourself look smart on here.
  • feed it b.dubai roaches, if you hate roaches get grasshoppers, if you hate grasshoppers you shouldnt have a T in the first place
  • Maybe I should change my substrate it's the exact same as that.
  • @Skeleflexcrazy well said.
  • @Skeleflexcrazy Ha, you are an idiot. Do more research on tarantulas. Just because you don't personally see a tarantula in the wild not having problems or dying from eating vertebrates, doesn't mean that don't have problems. Go to arachnophiles annonymous and tell people it's okay to feed tarantulas these things. You will make yourself look like an idiot who didn't do enough research. By the way, caps lock doesn't make you look intimidating.
  • at 0:25 when it was standing it looked almost like it was thinking "I can FLYYYYYYY!!"
  • Du vet att det kanske inte är så sjukt smart att mata spindeln med den där grodan? Grodorna kan faktiskt innehålla parasiter.
  • hmmm is it god to feed with frogs?i was thinking frogs are poisonus sorry for me bad english
  • @lacey72 Thats why I have a Scorpion :D
  • beautiful spider :)
  • Thats a toad bro, not a frog.
  • i love the way they tackle there prey and then wrestle with it moving there legs out the way :), i fed mine today only had her about a week and it was awsome to watch and after cleaning her fangs and shit, cant wait untill she molts gonna look awsome :D spiders rock
  • @Skeleflexcrazy Your the idiot, PETA has nothing to do with owning exotic pets and/or feeding them live food. In fact, PETA would be in favor of proper care and treatment of pets (which would include feeding) such as tarantulas, scorpions, snakes etc. The people you are referring to, are just simply uninformed bystanders to an exotic pet owning community. Please, in the future, refrain from posting any more pointless, condescending comments in a sad attempt to make yourself seem intelligent...
  • Nice spider but use diff. substrate man..I use coconut shavings ..
