  • What would happen if you accidentally stepped on its trap? 
  • Nice video!!! These spiders have a segmented abdomen, so they refer to Liphistiidae - the base family of phylogenetic tree of spiders. 
  • so just curious here...the spider knows that prey is outside its doors from the web-looking extensions on the outside that probably are "triggered" inside?
